The park Sardegna in Miniatura, opened in 1999, contains important geomorfological, historical and architectural features of our island. Its location is particularly favourable, being placed under La Giara valley, one kilometre far from the nuragic village “Su Nuraxi” in Barumini. The park occupies a surface of 50.000 sqms, in which a 160 meters long path contains, in small size, all the most representative monuments of our island.

The miniatures exhibited inside the park are rigorously constructed, made of precious materials, with hand-made details and a skilled use of dyes. All of these aspects make them veritable works of art, history treasures which perfectly convey an idea of what our beautiful land can offer (us). The trial is equipped with special tour guide buttons in different languages which make the tourist route more enjoyable, especially from an educational point of view.
